Recent Rail Accidents in India:

True to the phrase " The buck stops here", taking responsiblity for the back to back rail accidents in UP in the last two days, the Railway Board Chairman, Mr Mittal, has resigned.

It is reported that the Railway Minister, Mr Suresh Prabhu has also put in his papers.

It is not known whether the resignations will be accepted, or it is only a gesture.
