Tickets for Wimbledon, 2017


All of us are aware that Wimbledon tennis tournament is one of the most prestigious tennis events played every year in UK that attracts the best talent and large crowd of spectators.

But we know very little about the ways and ease to get a ticket. As the demand for tickets far out weighs availability authorities have devised many ways to sell tickets of various denominations so that all cross section of people get an opportunity, like ballot, online, queue etc. One, simply, cannot walk in and buy a ticket. More than 7000 spectators are already camping outside the stadium to buy the ticket for the first match of the tournament. The prices of tickets also vary from court to court, and, as the tournament progresses. The most affordable tickets are for the ground  passes for unreserved seats.

Most of them come, taking a lot of trouble, to watch their favorite player. For many, mostly from abroad, it is a life's dream fulfilled.
